We are aware of the recent earthquake that shook Italy which killed more than hundreds and made many people homeless. Italy Scientists of IREACNR and INGV are making a study with the data from the Synthetic Aperture Radar of the satellites. The study is made on the plots to check for the shape of the surface due to the quake followed by many aftershocks. InSAR is the technique used where in two or more radar images of identical ground location is combined to measure the ground motion occurring between the images acquired. Interferogram images are fringes otherwise known as set of rainbow colored bands is generated after InSar technique merges the data. These images symbolize the movement of the ground comparative to the spacecraft with a half wave length.
